On The Table Read Magazine, “the best entertainment magazine in the UK“, Katie Bell is sharing her business knowledge in new podcast, Treat Your Business.

Katie Bell

With the launch of her new podcast, “Treat Your Business,” award-winning seven-figure Sheffield wellness entrepreneur Katie Bell is celebrating sharing her knowledge to assist others in the profession in growing their businesses during challenging times. The podcast entered the UK Fitness at Number 8, defeating sporting giant Nike to the finish line.

After opening her first physiotherapy and wellness clinic in Sheffield at the age of 28, Katie, now 37, has helped over 10,000 people move better, feel better, and live better. After that, Katie expanded her clinic to include a staff of more than 30 experts and multiple seven-figure clients.

Katie continues to work as a physiotherapist and a Pilates instructor, but this year she is putting a lot of emphasis on sharing her knowledge, expertise, and experience with other health and wellness professionals and practice owners to help them achieve their own goals. This will allow them to run businesses that are larger, more profitable, and can have a much larger impact on people’s health and wellness as a whole.

Katie’s business grew quickly after she committed to learning from others who had traveled her path. She is now passionate about being that leader who helps her peers ensure that they get more joy and profit from their practices, which frequently become “monsters they have created,” after overcoming the difficulties of mindset and strategy.

Treat Your Business

In the first four episodes of her podcast, she talks about the four key foundations that often fail to help businesses grow and build businesses they actually love. Instead of being stuck on the hamster wheel of being an underpaid, overworked employee, she helps others shift the focus from treating their business like a job to growing it into a business that really provides for them.

She stated, that as new business owners, there is so much we don’t know that can make us feel overwhelmed and deflated when things don’t go as planned, even though we work whatever hours God gives us. She explained that she was like a circus performer in the beginning of her business; she was the physiotherapist, the Pilates instructor, the accountant, the marketer, the cleaner, and the receptionist, but she wasn’t doing any of these jobs well.

She quickly realized that she didn’t know a lot. Just from that point did she then find all the stuff (of which there were parts!) that she was completely unaware of! She decided to expedite the process because she didn’t want to waste years trying to figure things out on her own. She found someone who had been there and done that, and started with a coach who helped her build a team of 18 in two years and improve turnover by multiple six figures quickly.

Thrive

Katie founded her consulting company Thrive (https://thrive-businesscoaching.com) in 2020, during the pandemic, to provide transformative business coaching to owners of health and wellness businesses like; therapists, Pilates instructors, and clinic owners, many of whom were forced to move their businesses online. Now that we are facing the pressures of the recession, she is once more stepping up to offer support. Although Katie’s early days in business saw her feel very alone, overwhelmed, and experiencing burnout, Thrive has grown quickly to become the go-to team of experts for business owners in the health and wellness industry.

Katie’s “Treat Your Business” podcast is her way of sharing what she’s learned over the past few years with health and wellness business owners across the UK and beyond. She hopes that by sharing what she’s learned, she can help others in the industry grow by learning from her successes and failures, especially now that the recession is putting even more pressure on them.
