On The Table Read Magazine, “the best entertainment magazine in the UK“, Natisa Gogol’s powerful song, Wind Of Hope, is about holding on to strength and hope, inspired by the experience of feeling her home in Kyiv with her young son.

Wind Of Hope

The touching new single and video from Natisa Gogol, a pop singer-songwriter and refugee from Ukraine, Wind of Hope is a triumphant song that was inspired by the terrifying experience of fleeing her home in Kyiv with her young son. She conveys a powerful message about not giving up hope and strength, even in the worst and darkest of circumstances.

Wind of Hope is a brave pop ballad that reaches an anthemic, empathetic chorus with expansive vocals, lush string arrangements, and colorful shades of classically inspired landscapes.

Gregory Darling, a Prague-based and US-born producer, collaborated with the two to create a transformative and cathartic musical masterpiece that is certain to have an impact on listeners all over the world.

Natisa’s performance of Wind of Hope on February 24, the one-year anniversary of the Ukrainian war, at the Hlavni Nadrazi train station in Prague completes the release. The refugees landed at this station.

Natisa Gogol, a Ukrainian-born singer and songwriter, just released her latest single in February 2023. The song, titled “Wind Of Hope,” was written by Natisa after she fled from Ukraine to Prague earlier this year and had to part with everything she held dear.

Wind Of Hope is heartbreaking music that showcases a voice at the outer limits of perfection, a mellifluous, brittle instrument so finely poised and positioned as to be able to claim land rights of its own. It was produced by US-born, Prague-based songwriter and musician Gregory Darling, whose most recent co-write, “Lucky,” with Julian Lennon and Gregg Alexander (New Radicals), recently spent two months in the Top 40 of the Additionally, it emphasizes a recurring theme in Natisa’s songs: love.

Natisa, who was born in 1988 in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, went to the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Performing and Circus Arts before graduating to become a soloist for the state academic orchestra. While she was there, she worked with DJ Shiller and the 1970s Afro-German-Carribean, disco/funk vocal supergroup Boney M, which is still huge in Ukraine.
