Born and bred in a small town called Darwen in Lancashire, Kay Woodburn now lives in Cheshire, where she and her husband Stewart have raised their two children, Jade and Cameron, who are now young adults.

Her family life, corporate career and passion to help people get grittier, led to the founding of Gritty People in 2013. Jacqui Flavell lives in Peacehaven with her husband Malcolm and three cats, Lola, Matilda and Nina, where she runs 2nd Cup Of Tea, working as a life coach to help people create and achieve their dreams.
Jacqui has over twenty-five years’ experience in Coaching, Learning and Development, and has worked with global companies and travelled all over the world creating learning solutions in the areas of Leadership Development, Team Performance, and Creating Coaching Culture. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) a Master Practitioner of NLP, Timeline Therapy® Master Practitioner, Master Hypnotist, NLP Master Coach and Mindfulness Association Practitioner.
Jacqui is a volunteer Wellbeing Coach with Macmillan and continues to support people living with cancer. She volunteers at Haven’s Community Hub, a local charity that supports the community and is on the committee of Peacehaven and District Chamber of Commerce, where she provides training and coaching to local businesses.
