On The Table Read, “the best arts magazine in the UK“, Türkiye’s first independent carbon-neutral hotel group, The Stay, launched a digital art exhibition at The Stay Boulevard Nisantasi, running until January 2023.
Digital art exhibition showcased in partnership with Blackdove
This month, The Stay Boulevard Nisantasi and Blackdove, a digital art platform with an expanding collection of cutting-edge works by global innovative artists, are putting on their first art show.
From November 10 to January 31, 2023, the exhibition will be open to both hotel guests and non-guests from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day (except Mondays). Works by local and international digital artists such as Selay Karasu, Kaya Hocaoglu, Ozan Ozcelik, Ecem Dilan Köse, Lukas Bruhn, and Maxim Zhestkov will be on display in the hotel’s Gallery on the lobby floor.
The Culture of Wellness
A brand-new spa with an entire floor will open this month. It will have a gym, a hot tub, and an indoor pool for guests to use. In addition, there are nine spa treatment rooms, one of which is designed specifically for couples. These treatments range from hammam and massage to hot stone therapy and Balinese massage.
Marcello, an Italian restaurant designed by the internationally renowned Autoban design studio and located in Istanbul, will open its doors to guests in January. With the assistance of two notable Italian chefs, terracotta and rich marble and wooden panels will create an authentic Italian atmosphere. The charm will be enhanced by both local and international artwork. A Biophilic roof garden will give the impression of the Mediterranean and provide a surprisingly tranquil and green space in the middle of the city.
Double rooms at The Stay Boulevard Nisantasi start from £290 per night B&B, with flexible booking terms.
About The Stay Hotels
Award-winning The Stay Hotels operates five properties with a total of more than 180 guest rooms in Istanbul and Alacati in Türkiye. In Istanbul, the collection includes its newest property that opened in June 2022, The Stay Boulevard Nisantasi, together with The Stay Nisantasi, which is set in the heart of the Fashion Quarter; The Stay Bosphorus, a revamped 19th-century waterfront mansion; and Bebek Hotel by The Stay, a glamorous and storied hotel. In Alacati, The Stay Warehouse is a cool former beer depot close to the coast, which won the Best International Hotel category of the Food and Travel 2021 Readers Awards.
In 2022, The Stay Hotels became the first carbon-neutral independent hotel group in Türkiye. It was awarded carbon-neutral status by the internationally recognised sustainability specialist Bureau Veritas (https://group.bureauveritas.com) following an evaluation of the group’s adherence to the international standard for greenhouse gas verification.
As well as taking practical steps in its own operation to counter any greenhouse gases produced, The Stay Hotels has invested in domestic and green-energy projects locally and globally and works with companies that are committed to using green and sustainable products and processes. The group aims to achieve zero waste by the end of 2022.
