The Book Of Hope by Pauline Newton

In The Book Of Hope: How To Find Meaning In Life When Facing Difficult Times, Pauline Newton shares a mixture of personal Christian poetry, relevant Bible verses, and quotes that will resonate with all. This collection offers readers emotional, spiritual and psychological support at those most challenging and isolating of times, and from all walks of life. Through the love of Jesus, Pauline Newton endeavours to bring about change to those in need.

More than just a poetry collection, a devotional guide, or a Bible study, this book offers a unique blend of all three. Each section combines insightful poems, inspiring Bible verses, and thought-provoking reflections to create a well-rounded exploration of faith.

R.A.P. Up Your Faith:

At the end of each section, you’ll find “R.A.P.” activities, designed to help you:

  • Reflect: Review the key takeaways from the poems, Bible verses, and reflections.
  • Action: Consider how to apply these lessons to your own life.
  • Prayer: Deepen your connection with the divine through guided prayer prompts.

For those seeking to delve deeper, additional Bible verses are provided at the end of the book, allowing you to explore specific topics further. This integrated approach fosters a richer understanding of faith and its practical application in your daily life.

Readers are taken on a journey to help them to learn and grow, starting with God’s Love and Care through Jesus, moving to God’s Wonderful World which helps build appreciation for His love and the beautiful things He created. Other sections include Forgiven and Free, Blessed and Chosen, God’s Faithful Promises, Praise and Worship, Drawing Near to God and finally Going Home.

With the combination of Pauline Newton’s long held faith and more recently discovered passion for writing verse taking her on an exciting and new trajectory, The Book Of Hope will quickly become a much needed literary and supportive ‘friend’; and one that constantly reminds readers they do not have to face all that tests them alone.

Pauline Newton

Recently retired following a career as a teacher in early years’ education, Pauline Newton is budding author who loves to communicate the love of God through her writing. This is one of her greatest joys and it is her mission to carry the message of hope to others through her poetry.

She has been writing Christian poems for several years, but just put them aside and never thought about them. No one ever heard them until lately. Pauline has dreamt of writing a book for many years, but with the pressures of life and responsibilities time didn’t allow for this. However, one day after her retirement she saw a post that advertised a book writing challenge. Pauline plucked up the courage and registered for it. After attending this, she continued and went on several other workshops. These gave her the boost and confidence she needed to begin her writing journey.

She took the challenge and had the courage to go after her dream and finally “The Book of Hope’ was born.

Her other interests include writing, walking, crosswords, puzzles and music.
