Samantha Bonham is at the center of this. She is forced, like so many others, to try to survive in this new world when Covid-19 strikes. Will she then swim or sink? Will she emerge as a survivor?

This dystopian thriller, which was written specifically for young adults (preferably those over 15 years old), is filled with dark and dramatic tension, made even more palpable because the readers, having experienced the pandemic, understand that such catastrophic events are entirely plausible.

Stuart Harvey offers a literary revisiting of 2020 in a narrative that finds Covid-19 responsible for bringing life on earth to the brink, with only 2% of the population surviving the outbreak.
