Stalking Gia Channels Manhattan’s Nocturnal Glow In Euphoria

On The Table Read Magazine, “the best entertainment magazine in the UK“, alt pop singer-songwriter Stalking Gia has released her new single “Euphoria, about the desire to find a deeper connection with someone.

Stalking Gia is an alt-pop singer-songwriter from New York City, who materializes like a specter in the space between online fantasy and Manhattan’s real-life nocturnal glow. Her music has been streamed over 20 million times and received praise from the likes of Billboard, Marie Claire, LADYGUNN, NYLON, and more.

Gia had her first dose of the limelight at age 5, when she starred in one of Cheerios most globally successful commercials. Alongside her friend Nick Jonas, Gia was a professional Broadway actor (alongside her friend, and a Top 5 Disney Radio artist with songs featured in the movie “Another Cinderella Story” which stars Selena Gomez. In 2012, she voiced Popstar Barbie in the animated movie Barbie: The Princess and the Popstar, which was produced by Universal Studios and premiered on Nickelodeon.

Stalking Gia’s Music

She released her debut single, Second Nature, independently in 2016, which kickstarted her viral fame and earned over 13.2 million streams on Spotify. It was later sampled on the single Wish U The Best by A-List Top 40 recording artist with 20 Million Spotify monthly listeners, Blackbear. This lead the two artists to tour together before collaborating on their track, Miracles, which has earned over 4.9 million streams. Following that success, Gia secured a publishing deal with industry giant Warner-Chappell.

Last summer she teased a demo using the famous nursery rhyme Oh My Darling Clementine on TikTok which got such a positive response that she went on to release a full version titled Saddest Happy Girl.

Euphoria

Known for creating her “no rules” music style, Stalking Gia is a sought after name in the game between New York City and the music scene of Los Angeles, both for collaborations and as a solo artist. She released a few tracks under Epic Records, but returned to releasing music independently and has released several tracks which have gained a loyal fan base.

Her new single, Euphoria, explores the desire to find a deeper connection with someone, and the feelings you have as you fear losing them.  The lyrics describe the struggle to break free from the monotony and mundanity of everyday life, and longing to escape the current situation to reach a new level of intimacy.
