Elena Horas San Martín works as a freelance writer and Spanish translator. She studied biology at Seville University, completing her BSc (Hons) in the UK.

Elena has written many children’s stories, as well as an adventure novel entitled A Journey With Malmo To The Ends Of The Earth. She is also the author of Learning Spanish and Mi Gran Familia, a family book that traces back the lives of many celebrated members of her own family, painters, photographers and astronomers among them.

She is married with two sons and lives in London.
