Having been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer diagnosis my second Charlie book will be about life after diagnosis, craniotomy, nephrectomy and treatments. It will also be about living in a static caravan and getting ripped off, moving to a flat, and finally buying, doing up and moving into a home forever. Whilst also dealing with my 91 year old Dad who is in hospital, putting down cat and all the other crap life throws at you.
I am based in Formby near Liverpool, so is the book although all names and places changed to be based around Hull.
I am a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and qualified mathematics teacher. I have one son (25) one brother and a very elderly, poorly father (91) I have a great circle of friends and hobbies as such are not specific. I love doing houses up and refurbishment and spending time with friends, eating out or otherwise.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer in October 21 and so between craniotomy, nephrectomy and treatment sessions, my Dad, and doing up a wreck of a house to move in to, there has not been a lot of time for much else.
