Escape to Freight Island is proud to announce a very special Valentine’s Weekend celebration to spoil your loved one this year on Saturday 12^th and Sunday 13^th February. 

Valentines Weekend

Whether you’re heading out for a romantic evening or celebrating singledom with your mates, the team behind Freight Island has curated the perfect Valentine weekend for everyone.

Head to The Jane Eyre Cocktail Bar on Saturday 12th February from 2pm-1am, bookings recommended, to sip on some exquisite cocktails handcrafted by their skilled bartenders alongside the option to order some canapes to nibble. Tucked away above the hustle and bustle of the Ticket Hall, this bar in the sky is the best spot to sip handcrafted drinks with your loved ones.

Paint Your Partner

Following the incredible success of Cork and Canvas, the workshop will return to Escape to Freight Island as ticketed event priced at £33 per person on Sunday 13th February from 6:30pm to 9:00pm with a valentine’s couples special “Paint Your Partner” hosted by the fabulous Manchester’s Queen Banksie, where you can create your own corking canvas painting of your partner, be it your lover or friend! There is no experience needed, the ticket includes all art equipment.

Sunday 13th February will see a Valentines Special dinner and dance, ticketed event priced at £45 hosted in the Plant Room with a first sitting at 6:30pm, a second sitting at  7pm and entertainment begins at 7:30pm. Freight Island is bringing the swing of Sinatra alive, Perfectly Frank by David Knopov, as seen on BBC’s The One and Only, a tribute to the legendary Frank Sinatra and is without a doubt one of the most successful Frank Sinatra tributes around.

Dinner and Drinks

Providing you with the perfect soundtrack to your Valentine’s Day celebrations. All tickets include a welcome cocktail on arrival, carafe of house wine, and a 2 course dinner.

‘Perfectly Frank’ food menu will be served by multi-award-winning Basque-inspired restaurant, Baratxuri featuring superb dishes cooked in wood-fired ovens. The Cordero Lechal part of this special menu is one not to be missed, which includes a seasonal milk-fed Pyrenees lamb, clay oven roasted with ras el hanout and cumin seed, malted cauliflower, grilled leaves of Swiss Chard and savoy.

For those with a sweet-tooth, get the special Valentine’s Black Forest Baked Alaska for dessert.
