Jo Fenton grew up in Hertfordshire, and loved reading from the beginning, especially adventure books, school stories, and fantasy. When she was six years old, a wonderful book called Science Can Be Fun inspired her to pursue a career in science. She discovered Agatha Christie and Georgette Heyer when she was eleven, and her home office now contains a diverse and beloved book collection.

As an author of crime thrillers, her writing life is very different from her career in clinical research. When not working, she runs (slowly), hikes and loves to chat with friends.
