In new single”Already Gone”, psych rock band Foxtide touch on themes such as isolation, boredom and living in a relentless routine. They explore the internal dialogue, and tell the story, of a man who is forced to follow societal norms in mindless dead end jobs.

Foxtide
The San Diego based four piece band, Foxtide, create an explosive surf jazz infused psych rock sound that is as fresh as it is nostalgic. Raised in sunny Southern California, the four friends came together during garage jam sessions, sharing their eclectic musical palette and influences.
Elijah Gibband Croft takes lead guitar and vocals, and founded the band, joined by Dom Friedly on guitar, Oey James on bass, and Ian Robles on drums. The Foxtide lineup offers a wildly diverse array of talents and sonic perspectives, and have become known for their expansive and immersive rock landscapes, melodic basslines, cutting guitars, and catchy sun melodies.

Visions
Their debut full length album, Visions, was released in 2021 and receive both critical and commerical acclaim and built a fervant local fanbase with its pop punk, psycy-drenched, emotive rock soundscapes.
Lead guitar and vocalist, Elijah Gibband Croft, shared that “Visions is about the duality of reminiscing (living in the past) and wishing (living in the future). I think everyone participates in both of these myself included so I wanted to write about it.”
Of the lead single, She’s Not Yours, he states it “chronicles the powerless feeling of casual love. With themes of jealousy, regret, and reminiscence and an inspiration musically from The Strokes.”
Everything That’s Mine is an autobiographical song about wasting time on faulty love interests in your teen years, with sonic inspirations including Sublime and Fugzi giving a captivating Reggae rock infused listen. Ocean Blue was produced by Grammy award-winning Jazz producer Kamau Kenyatta, giving an intoxicating surf Jazz meets garage rock sound.
Foxtde ae inspired by artists such as Tame Impala, The Strokes, The Beatles, The Police, The Beach Boys, and King Krule, giving their music an experimental sound that is equally familiar. With a thrilling live show to boot, Foxtide is a band on the rise.
