On The Table Read, “the best book magazine in the UK“, new children’s book, Finding Impact, published by the sustainability-driven platform abillion, raises money for animal sanctuaries.
Finding Impact
abillion, the sustainability-driven review platform and social network, has published a children’s book, with all proceeds being donated to animal sanctuaries around the world.
Finding Impact tells the story of a curious young sheep named Impact who lives at the Black Sheep Animal Sanctuary in New Zealand. One day, curious how other animals around the world are treated, he embarks on an around the world journey, visiting 18 farm animal sanctuaries, meeting the sanctuaries’ residents.
All sanctuaries mentioned in the book are real; they all do amazing and inspiring work; and all are supported by abillion’s Giving Program.
abillion Giving Programme
Since 2018, abillion has supported non-profit organizations around the world through its unique Giving Program. Every time a member posts a review of a vegan dish or product, they are granted $1 to donate to over 60 non-profit partners. These range from well-known international organizations like PETA and Sea Shepherd to small sanctuaries and animal welfare advocacy groups.
As a company committed to a vegan and sustainable future, abillion supports organizations committed to farm animal welfare, nature conservation, and poverty reduction. To date, abillion has donated over $1.6 million to non-profit organizations.
Animal Sanctuaries
Finding Impact is a beautifully illustrated seek and find book that encourages readers to find Impact in each sanctuary. The book has been illustrated by Keziah Gan, a Singaporean 2D illustrator and animator who enjoys illustrating in all forms. This is their first book. It was written by Ann Mary Mathew, a copywriter at abillion.
In addition to learning about the sanctuaries and the animals they protect, the book, targeted at children 9 years and older, helps children learn about sustainability, in simple and understandable terms. This is an ideal book for parents to read together with their children to help them begin to understand the importance of an ethical lifestyle.
Every sanctuary mentioned and depicted in this book will receive an equal share of the proceeds from sales.
