Based on a symbiotic relationship, Crunch learns that help can be found in the most unlikely of friends – and that he can help them too!

Having previously taught English at secondary school level, Faye Carruthers uses the full extent of her teaching background, and her passion for animals, in this entertaining and educational picture book. Faye Carruthers achieved a BA Hons degree in English Literature whilst studying in Liverpool. Her passion for literature led her to gain a PGCE in secondary education and she taught English for seven years before deciding to leap into the world of writing.

An avid animal lover and often claiming that she “preferred animals to humans as they show kindness in abundance”, this passion gave her the inspiration for her debut children’s book – The Crocodile And Plover Bird – A Rare Friendship.
