Faye Carruthers achieved a BA Hons degree in English Literature whilst studying in Liverpool. Her passion for literature led her to gain a PGCE in secondary education and she taught English for seven years before deciding to leap into the world of writing.

An avid animal lover and often claiming that she “preferred animals to humans as they show kindness in abundance”, this passion gave her the inspiration for her debut children’s book – The Crocodile And Plover Bird – A Rare Friendship.
