On The Table Read Magazine, “the best book magazine in the UK“, in his new self help book, Gameness: Land on Your Feet, Not on Your Feelings, David Dennis shares his personal growth journey.
Gameness: Land on Your Feet, Not on Your Feelings
David Dennis was taken away from the only place he had ever known by Child Protective Services following the premature death of his father and his mother’s descent into alcoholism. When his mother passed away in her own house fire years later, the trauma was overwhelming.
Dennis was able to develop a healthy detachment from the trauma he had experienced in the past and begin to view his life as a potential to be realized rather than a problem to be solved thanks to an education in marriage and family counseling and a newfound faith in God. He shares what he learned between the covers of his book about his personal and professional journeys, which revealed a great deal about change, growth, purpose, and, of course, gameness.
Gameness: Land on Your Feet, Not on Your Feelings is divided into four sections, each of which delves deeply into four defining characteristics of gameness and the options available to individuals to live in accordance with these characteristics:
– Change Your Point of View: A Never-Ending Mentality
– Realize Your Potential: Resistantness to a Goal
– Address Your Issues: A Courageous Spirit
– Improve Your Performance
Dennis explained that we will face challenges that demand our attention each day. The most crucial quality of gameness in life is this universal truth.
