On The Table Read Magazine, “the best book magazine in the UK“, Dr. Jan Patterson collaborated with author Phyllis Clark Nichols on new book, Breath For The Soul, to empower readers in practicing self-care.
Advantages Of Self-Care
Dr. Jan Patterson is a doctor who specializes in infectious diseases and integrative medicine. She has studied and practiced medicine for more than 30 years. However, she is also a cancer survivor and a parent who has lost a child. As a result, she acknowledges that traditional medicine frequently overlooks the advantages of self-care when it comes to treating certain conditions.
Dr. Patterson said that while she realized that conventional medicine is very helpful and can do wonderful things, it is not enough to deal with problems like stress, anxiety, depression, and loss. She learned through her training in integrative medicine that people can be empowered to take care of themselves in a simple but effective way.
Breath For The Soul
In her new book, Breath For The Soul: Practical Self-Care Strategies, she collaborated with award-winning author Phyllis Clark Nichols, who has cared for her husband through three cancer battles. Steps to Wellness in Self-Care
The four sections of the book deal with stress, anxiety, depression, and grief—conditions that every person will face at some point in their lives. The authors then talk about how breathing, movement, diet, spirituality, and mindfulness can be used to alleviate symptoms.
According to Phyllis Clark Nichols, you are a soul, a complex person, and your entire self requires care and nurturing. Breath For The Soul is a comprehensive set of information, motivational tales, reliable sources, nutritious recipes, and a straightforward plan to give you control over your own self-care. Utilize these straightforward tools to empower yourself in an innovative manner. Set yourself on the road to wellness, wholeness, and health.
