Family Friendly Easter Break

Easter Activities

Over at the Mini Cini, the cinema will show bunny-related and family-friendly films on Sunday 17th April – presenting Peter Rabbit (2018) at 10am, then followed by Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005) at 12pm. Tickets are priced at £10 per adult and £8 per child.

The warehouse will also host an Easter Sunday Egg Hunt, in partnership with local artisan chocolatier Cocoa Cabana, from 10am until 12pm – where kids can explore the venue with a basket provided to hunt for hidden eggs and treats around the space.  Tickets to participate are priced at £5 per child – which includes the basket.

More April Programming

Yoga Bagel Brunch

Further programming in April includes a special yoga bagel brunch activation with Bread Flower, who currently takes residency at the Counter, as they team up to host Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Emma.

The relaxed and accessible class for all levels will feature meditative and energising elements accompanied by an uplifting playlist, then followed by delicious bagel brunch.

Bagel brunch includes a large spread of freshly baked sourdough bagels, a selection of schmears (flavoured whipped cream cheese) and garnishes. Priced at £30 per person, it also includes drinks plus a bouquet of flowers for guests to take home.

Dried Flower Workshop

Bread Flower will also curate a two-hour dried flower workshop, where participants will learn on how to choose flowers that dry well, the best way to preserve flowers at home and how to arrange dried flowers into pretty bouquets and manage it to last forever.

Continuing their series of Saturdays pop-ups to showcase independent Manchester brands and creatives, on Saturday 9th April Ducie Street Warehouse will host ‘Manchester Illustrates’ curated by Manchester based artist Sarah Wilde to feature a collection of illustrations for sale from fellow local artists. Then on Saturday 23rd April the warehouse will host unisex jewellery shop Ninetysix.

Late Night Date Night

April will also see a series of regular programming from Ducie Street Warehouse, including a new residency ‘Late Night Date Night’ hosted monthly on the first Thursday of the month, a new ‘Northern Quarter Album Club’ hosted weekly on a Wednesday, plus Mini Cini regulars from Pawpcorn every Monday, to the monthly ‘Scene It Before’ and ‘Pitch Black Playback’ hosted bi-monthly on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month.

Plus a one-off Manchester screening at the Mini Cini in collaboration with Doc’n Roll to present music documentary Italo Disco Legacy (2018) on Saturday 16th April at 5pm.
