Tony Kelly, a former professional footballer who graced the fields of seven English Football League clubs, including Bristol City, Stoke City, and Hull City, is now a prominent voice in the fight against gambling addiction.

His football career began early, with a record-breaking debut for Bristol City at the tender age of 16. However, despite his on-field successes, Kelly’s life took a devastating turn when he fell prey to a crippling gambling addiction. This addiction led to the loss of over £500,000, three houses, and ultimately, bankruptcy.

Determined to turn his life around, Kelly transformed his personal struggles into a mission to help others. In 2015, he founded the Red Card Gambling Support Project, a charity dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of gambling and providing vital support to those in need.
