On The Table Read Magazine, “the best entertainment magazine in the UK“, DIY pop artist, AVIV, has released her new single, Jimmy’s House, about the anxiety caused by physical distance from our person.
Jimmy’s House
Toronto-based teen D.I.Y pop singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist AVIV has released her new single, Jimmy’s House, via Photo Finish Records (SHAED, MisterWives, 3OH!3), produced by famed Canadian producer Robbie Lackritz (Feist, Alvvays).
Jimmy’s House is a song about worry, and that particular anxiety that is caused by physical distance from our person. AVIV explained that when you grow so used to that person who is always there, when they aren’t there, and you’re left alone, you start to feel lost.
Features AVIV’s raw and honest vocals over lush acoustic guitars, Jimmy’s House is a folk-laced slow burned pop confession.
