She supported Tom Meighan on his 2022 tour, performing on the stages of Highest Point, Kendal Calling, and Forgotten Fields festivals, and she even appeared as BBC Introducing Lancashire’s Record of the Week!
Midnight Hour
Her most recent single, Midnight Hour, describes a realization that occurs when you identify the aspects of your life that are preventing you from moving forward. Midnight Hour was written about two friends of hers, and about having a moment of madness with someone in your friendship group—a so-called “stranger” in the song—while you’re in a deadend relationship. When you can’t stop fantasizing about what you could have and how young and free it would make you feel, but you know it isn’t something that would work out.
Upbeat danceable anthem Midnight Hour shines bright with a newfound confidence and self-worth and features twinkling synths, euphoric harmonies, and emotion-fueled vocals. It was inspired by artists like Haim, Jade Bird, and Maisie Peters. The song’s lyrics emphasize the feeling of being trapped, but eventually set free and able to truly express your emotions.
The music video that goes along with the song was shot in a “typical” date setting. It shows the different emotions and sides of people’s relationships as well as how they might try to hide things. The fun video shows the vocalist wearing various outfits and colours, mirroring the battle of emotions while going through a difficult time.
