Mola, the OTT multimedia company encompassing sports, music, and film content, launches a collection of NFTs granting holders access to the private Mola Chill Club and its exclusive global music events.
All NFTs sold during this first drop will double as tickets to the Mola Chill County Fair event starring indie singer Rex Orange County in London on March 2nd. NFTs purchased in subsequent auctions will grant the holders access to the ticketing page or an invitation to other Mola Chill Club events featuring top artists from around the world.
NFTs have disrupted many facets of the entertainment industry, from music production to album releases. Beyond that, NFTs are revolutionizing event ticketing, offering solutions to issues like fraud and counterfeiting. NFTs are more versatile and functional than one-time-use tickets, giving their holders unique rewards and experiences beyond the access to an event.
Mola Chill Club lists its first collection of 300 limited-edition NFTs on OpenSea. The first drop will grant NFT holders with concert access, while subsequent drops will bring holders to an invitation page to purchase a ticket to one of the Club’s series of events.
Select NFTs hold surprise feats, including an artist meet and greet, backstage access, and two-way flights to London. A second London event will feature one of London’s favorite rappers who continues the series on March 11th. Mola’s past events featured an impressive list of musicians, including Kehlani, Charlie Puth, Kings of Convenience, Joy Crookes, Seal, Anne-Marie, and Weezer.
“Mola does not aim to become just a video and content platform, we do things differently,” says Mirwan Suwarso, Official Representative of Mola. “Our Mola Chill Club is a great example of that. Fans are not just purchasing a concert ticket for one-time use—our membership NFTs unlock access to a whole range of experiences for its holder, along with other benefits. In everything we do, our goal is to engage our audience, to inspire them, to bring them not just content, but something they can relate to and be part of.”
