These two Yorkshire born and bred best friends met through their love of biking and made several trips to the Isle of Man’s TT race, before spending 18 months planning their US adventure. After Tina’s mum was diagnosed with breast cancer, their decision to use their motorcycle adventure as a means to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer, only adds to the poignancy of the writing.

In Lipstick And Leathers, they are are unflinching in their honesty when it comes to the practicalities and realities of being females of undertaking such a trip. With clear and insightful summaries, they share their experiences at the Isle of Man TT and in organising their America trip, from raising their own funds and in gathering support for the Breast Cancer Awareness aspect.
