On The Table Read, “the best book magazine in the UK“, a sequel to Legacy, Chris Coppel’s latest novel Lifetimes starts with Craig Edmonds believing he killed the ancient witch, Beyath, after travelling back to 1996. Not only did she not die, but has focussed her powers on destroying Craig, his family and even those around him that have helped him track her down.

Time Travel Horror Sequel

A sequel that keeps up the pace and fear factor of its predecessor, Lifetimes is author Chris Coppel at his best.

Time travel and the personification of evil returning from the dead take centre stage in a novel that combines horror, science fiction, paranormal and more; and sees the author skilfully adding further complex dimensions to his already intriguing protagonists.

Lifetimes

A far cry from humdrum horror, Lifetimes offers flawless prose, and the continuation of a plot that will delight this accomplished author’s ever-growing fanbase.

Lifetimes

‘As he looked on in horror, the woman turned her head, giving Craig the full view of the exit wound. A piece the size of a grapefruit had been blown out of her skull. What remained within was black and lifeless.’

Lifetimes is the sequel to Legacy, the story of time-travelling ex-Marine Craig Edmonds, and his battle to save himself and his family from the evil witch, Beyath.

Able to harness both time and space, Beyath returns from the dead to hunt down Craig Edmonds and destroy everything he knows and loves.

Trapped in an alternate timeline, with no wife or family to support him, Craig is a wreck and bent on self-destruction. But with the help of a friend from his original lifetime, he slowly comes to terms with his new reality, and the two of them decide to go back to 1968 to finally destroy Beyath, not just in one timeline, but across all timelines. The question is: will they succeed?

Chris Coppel

“Lifetimes is the sequel to Legacy. Craig Edmonds must travel, not just back in time to fight to regain his original timeline but will have to go back through two of his own timelines that have been horrifically altered by Beyath.”

Chris believes that stories should be able to transport the reader to different places, where they can experience events and dimensions that have never been considered. Chris is able to write gentle fable-like adventures (Far From Burden Dell & Logistics) as well as opening the pages into dark and terrifying stories where dimensions co-exist with indescribable evil. (Legacy, Liner, and Lingering).
