On The Table Read Magazine, “the best entertainment magazine in the UK“, Dutch R&B and neo-soul artist, Sophia Habib, has recently released a live video for her single, Lifeline.

Lifeline

Stunning track, Lifeline, from Sophia Habib’s critically acclaimed EP, Fragile, has attracked the attention of several publications, including PAPER Magazine, Wonderland Magazine, and Earmilk. The new live rendition sees Habib with Cloud Orchestra, giving an absolutely spine-shivering listening experience.

Sophia is releasing three live tracks and a stunning live video following the release of her album Fragile in 2022. The release demonstrates her incredible live skills and includes two songs from her album, “Lifeline” and “We Can’t Work This Out,” as well as the addition of a new song, “Thank You.” Sophia’s enthusiasm for classical music is evident when she performs with an orchestra. She contacted Anton de Bruin by phone and to ask about collaborating with Cloud Orchestra, which is how it began.

Directed by Eloi Genrich and Rebecca Weltner, and filmed by Maric Dam, the three recordings are shot in a beautiful and minimlist location, putting the emphasis on Sophia and the music, without any distractions. Her vulnerability and warm tones mix with dull shadowy elements, adding further depth to the sound and the song’s narratives.
