Challenging the notion that gods are always virtuous, McKie demonstrates that even those we admire and revere often have flaws and engage in questionable actions. By shedding light on the scandalous deeds of these deities, the book demystifies mythology and makes it accessible to a wider audience, dispelling any preconceived notions of elitism associated with classical studies.

With its engaging writing style and well-researched content, Gods Behaving Badly is a must-read for anyone interested in mythology, history, or simply a good story.
