The title track, “After The Rain,” emerged from a spontaneous writing session with friends Tyler Shamy and Palmer Reed. Inspired by a surprising phone call from an ex-boyfriend, the song initially explored themes of heartbreak and moving on. However, it ultimately evolved into an empowering anthem for self-love.

Produced by acclaimed rapper and singer RMR, “After The Rain” blends lofi beats with subtle R&B elements, creating a sonic backdrop that perfectly complements Olson’s emotive vocals and sultry synths.

“After The Rain” is a captivating introduction to Kaitlyn Olson. With its raw honesty and soulful sound, the EP promises a bright future for this talented artist.
