They flee to an abandoned scientific facility where incredible and terrifying experiments have been taking place, experiments that could change the course of human history.
Meanwhile, the only person who can save them is a lowly monitoring station employee half a world away in Arizona – but the clock is ticking, and the universe is about to come calling.

“I am passionate about representation in fiction and love creating diverse casts for my novels, something that my debut novel Deep Level was praised for.”
A professional writer based in south Wales, Richard E Rock lives with his girlfriend and their cat.
He says: “When I’m not writing novels I am either hitting the gym or banging my head to heavy metal. By day I work as a commercial scriptwriter in radio, but by night I write about the dark and fantastical. My career as an author was born one morning after waking up from a particularly ferocious nightmare. I thought, ‘Wow! That would make a great novel!’ I decided from then on not to fear my nightmares but to embrace them, and now I deliberately induce them.”
“Frenzy Island came to me in a series of horrible dreams. Over successive nights I dreamed of giant, blue-skinned savages, possessed babies, alien abductions and mysterious objects in the sky. It was as if all the ideas for a novel were being delivered to me raw and unfiltered, and all I had to do was put them all together.”
