Their captivating live performances have taken them across the UK, Europe, and Canada, leaving audiences enthralled.

Their music has even garnered two nominations for the highly respected Australian Music Prize.
Marlinchen In The Snow
Seeking inspiration for their fourth studio album, “Marlinchen In The Snow,” the Charm of Finches sisters embarked on a month-long recording journey to rural Nova Scotia in February 2023.
Acclaimed Canadian producer Daniel Ledwell (Jenn Grant, Oh Pep!) joined them in the studio, and the beauty of the frozen landscape, along with the transient life they led on the road, deeply influenced their creative process. The album also draws inspiration from the dark themes of the Grimm’s fairy tale “The Juniper Tree.”
It’s a haunting tale of how Marlinchen discovers the death of her stepbrother at the hands of her mother. This found its way into one of our songs. There’s lots of symbolism in the story but really, it’s about female strength and intuition – overcoming obstacles led by your inner voice – a theme throughout the album.
