Yonderworld Tales Loki’s Fall by Ailsa Bains

Ailsa Bains’ captivating debut novel, Yonderworld Tales, introduces readers to the mischievous god Loki, forced to endure the consequences of his actions. Stripped of his mythological status and shape-shifting abilities, Loki must now navigate the challenges of mortal life.

Through vivid storytelling, Bains paints a picture of Loki’s transformation from a mischievous god to a team player. As he faces the hardships of his new existence, readers will be inspired by his journey of self-discovery and redemption.

A clever choice to make Loki the protagonist, Bains leverages his familiarity from the Marvel universe to engage young readers. By portraying Loki as a hero who saves the day, she encourages children to believe in the power of change and the possibility of redemption.

With its engaging plot, relatable characters, and timeless themes, Yonderworld Tales is a must-read for young readers and adults alike. Stay tuned for the next installment in this thrilling series!

The idea for this book sprung out of nowhere, and it has taken a long time to write due to the various demands of life. I intend it to be the first of a series of books about Yonderworld. The second one is completed.

My name is Gill Crimp, and I am a retired teacher; and now live in a small town in mid-Devon where I continue to teach and mentor part-time.

I am now 70 years old, and proof I hope, that it’s really never too late to try something new. After recovering from cancer, I feel incredibly lucky to still be here, and value life enormously. I hope I can inspire others to follow their dreams.
