Side Effects takes us inside our heads and beneath the surface of our subconscious using melodic echoes. Going through any mental health struggles can feel very isolating, so Yarin Glam wanted to bring attention to the issue and make it clear that those who go through similar experiences to her are not alone. Through intimate storytelling and emotional vulnerability, this track brings people together.

Yarin released “Free” in 2020, a song that celebrates diversity and Yarin’s own journey toward self-acceptance. Yarin’s electric EP Realness was released in the beginning of 2021. Later that summer, an acoustic version of the EP was released. Energetic and dreamy, with notes of Center Eastern pop, her debut EP attracted a captivated audience. Her Instagram followers, who number more than 88 thousand, patiently await her next release.

Yarin writes about topics like self-love and female empowerment. She has shared her journey of self-acceptance, and discussed her struggles with an eating disorder and mental health issues. Yarin’s lyrics are real and open in the hope that they will comfort to others who are going through something similar to what she has been going through. The songs in Realness are very upbeat and encourage acceptance of oneself regardless of what society considers to be “ideal.”
