Eight Miles High

Immersing readers in the tragic circumstances that lead its protagonist to endure a very different childhood and teenage years to that which was anticipated, Eight Miles High by Nicholson is a romantic and suspense-laden thriller.

Born into a very happy life with adoring parents who she loves deeply, Eight Miles High‘s protagonist tragically becomes an orphan when her beloved parents are killed in an air crash. She has to go into an orphanage and then a foster home and at long last a lovely couple adopts her, but she can never love them.

The orphaned youngster’s dreams of growing up and becoming an actress come true when she moves Los Angeles and, at the age of twenty-one, inherits a fortune from her parent. Living a luxurious lifestyle which is out of the reach of virtually all, she marries a man who she thinks is her dream, but is there another agenda at play?

With a host of unexpected plot twists and turns, and two well-constructed lead characters, Eight Miles High is an easy flowing read with the moral ambiguity of the multi-dimensional husband intriguing readers and keeping the pages turning.
