Debz Hobbs-Wyatt is a talented author based in Essex, UK. With an MA in Creative Writing from Bangor University, she has established herself as a skilled storyteller. Hobbs-Wyatt’s work has been featured in numerous collections, and she has been shortlisted for prestigious awards such as the Pushcart Prize and the Commonwealth Short Story Prize.

Her debut novel, No One Was Watching, was published by Parthian Books in 2013. In 2019, she released her short story collection Because Sometimes Something Extraordinary Happens, showcasing her ability to craft engaging and thought-provoking narratives.

Currently represented by Camilla Shestopal at Shesto Literary, Hobbs-Wyatt is passionate about creating authentic characters and giving them a voice. She is thrilled to have If Crows Could Talk selected as the inaugural publication by Walela Books.
