On The Table Read, the “Best Entertainment Celebrity Magazine in the UK“, artist Paul Trevillion is announcing a partnership with MetaFrames Creative Studios.
MetaFrames, a next generation media company serving the arts and creative industries through blockchain – has announced it will become the official NFT (non-fungible token) partner for world renowned sports artist Paul Trevillion.
Partnership With MetaFrames
The partnership will see the artist’s iconic sports illustrations shown in virtual galleries on the MetaFrames platform, giving fans across the world increased accessibility to his work; even having the option to buy or sell NFTs by Trevillion.
The agreement signals an important shift within the creative and sporting industries towards the world of the metaverse, paving the way for similar artists, icons and brands to join this new digital frontier.
Sanjay Wadhwani, CEO and Founder of MetaFrames, comments: “Paul Trevillion is an exceptional artist, author and inventor who has immortalised beloved legends across the sporting arena. MetaFrames is honoured to partner with such artistic talent and share Paul’s creations on our platform. I am positive this will delight fans and collectors across the world and expect many more people to become fans as they discover his work.”

Paul Trevillion adds: “The pencil has been my constant companion since I was young, but I know from experience that there will always be new artistic frontiers to conquer – and the metaverse is the next for me. I am excited by the opportunities that come with delving into the world of Web3 and NFTs, with MetaFrames as my guide and partner.”
Valued globally at $4.14 billion, the sports collectibles market is making a strong play in the world of non-fungible tokens.
The metaverse is transforming what is perceived to be ‘valuable’ within the sporting memorabilia world, as well as being the driving force behind a digital collectibles craze. NFTs for sports media are expected to generate more than $2 billion in transactions this year – double that of 2021.
“Trevillion’s body of work is of unparalleled quality and range. It is a huge privilege for MetaFrames to be chosen as his NFT partner – a step in the right direction for him, his fans and collectors. We are focused on building long-term, sustainable value for our partners, securing fan artist licences so that creators, like Paul, can continue developing and sharing masterpieces, as well as deepening their fandoms.” concludes Wadhwani.
