Mandi Crimmins

Chaotically relatable rockstar Mandi Crimmins is a Berklee graduate from Los Angeles, well-known for her vulnerable, raw lyrics and pop songs that keep people listening. Mandi doesn’t hide her borderline personality disorder; rather, she uses it to connect with listeners who are also struggling with mental illness. On TikTok, she has a 40k cult following, and the mental health community supports every release because of her fierce authenticity.

Mandi’s sound has evolved into a raw, gritty realness that is addictive to hear since she moved to Los Angeles from Massachusetts, and caught the attention of alt-rock band The Haunt, who have since been Mandi’s main collaborator.

Borderline

Borderline, Mandi’s upcoming concept rock EP about mental health, takes listeners on a rollercoaster of highs and lows. The EP is an epic experience of reflection and high emotions filled with hyper-confessional lyrics with sharp edges, covering a variety of emotions, from chaotic, high-energy moments to darker, melancholy feelings, but her completely unfiltered approach remains constant.

Mandi ended up getting diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder while she was in the process of writing the EP. She finds writing to be like a form of therapy, and during the writing session, she typically lets out whatever is on my mind at the moment. After finishing the EP, Mandi realised she had actually written about her diagnosis before she had it. All her songs perfectly portrayed the sensation of being in her head.

You can’t help but become addicted to her music due to its raw, real power and songwriting talent. Mandi hopes more than anything that her music will inspire someone to get help if they’re struggling. With her vulnerability and stories in her lyrics, she hopes it makes people feel strong, seen, and accepted.
