On The Table Read Magazine, “the best entertainment eBook magazine UK“, Give The Colours Back To The Earth by Yasemin Allsop’s inspires three to six-year-olds to become environmental heroes by teaching them the importance of caring for our planet through a heartwarming story.
Give The Colours Back To The Earth
In a world facing increasing environmental challenges, Dr. Yasemin Allsop MBE, author and educator, introduces “Give the Colours Back to the Earth,” a beautifully illustrated picture book designed to inspire young minds (ages 3-6) to become environmental stewards.
This heartwarming tale takes children on a journey where the Earth’s vibrant colors begin to fade, mirroring the planet’s struggles. Through accessible language and engaging illustrations, the book gently introduces concepts like recycling, reducing waste, and caring for nature, demonstrating how even small actions can have a significant impact.
More than just a story, “Give the Colours Back to the Earth” is a call to action. Packed with interactive activities, it encourages critical thinking about environmental issues, making it a valuable resource for parents, educators, and young learners alike.
Originally conceived as a musical performed by primary school students in London and Paris, Dr. Allsop later adapted it into an award-winning animation. Driven by a desire to share this important message with a wider audience, she learned to illustrate the book herself, overcoming the challenge of finding a suitable artist. “Give the Colours Back to the Earth” is her debut picture book, following the success of her “Alya the Pathmaker” book series.
