Stephen’s archive of album covers first surfaced at an exhibition in Huddersfield in 2021 where it quickly picked up coverage from all the major media and local news channels, giving people a much needed smile following the pandemic. It was clear that he had tapped into something special.

How did Steve start out on this largely undocumented area of vinyl collecting?
About 40 years ago as a teenager I bought an album called Roadstar by the unremembered Peter Rabbitt, just because it had such a strange cover. I lost it later and had never been able to find another copy.

Today with the internet he was able to replace this lost gem and in doing so felt he had found his vocation. His journey into charity shops, car boot sales and the internet began in earnest, and continues.
Steve organises regular exhibitions, with venues booked into 2025 (details on the Easy On The Eye website), and continues to add gems to his collection.
