On The Table Read Magazine, “the best entertainment magazine in the UK“, Australian musician, St Humain, has released his vibrant new EP, Metadramatic.

St. Humain

Metadramatic

St. Humain is a Sydney, Australia-based artist who works in any genre. The musician’s vibrant, multi-cultural upbringing in Singapore gives his music a unique vibrancy. His most recent EP, METADRAMATIC, is like reading from his journal because each song peels back a layer, revealing more and more. His music is built around honest and personal stories from his own life.

The new EP follows his 2019 introduction discharge, EMOTIONAL SAUNA which was delivered via Capitol Music Group’s Listen For Pleasure. The seven-track release, which is being distributed in partnership with Paris-based artist accelerator Groover Obsessions, features mixing by fellow Sydneysider Simon Cohen (Justin Bieber, Troye Sivan, will.i.am) and mastering by California-based Dale Becker (SZA, Jack Harlow, Doja Cat). METADRAMATIC draws inspiration from artists such as Dua Lipa, Charlie Puth, and Post Malone.

The emotions we all experience in our relationships—with friends, lovers, and with ourselves—are the focus of METADRAMATIC. It is about the internal discussions that St. Humain and we all have had over the past few years. He explained that things are usually more dramatic in our heads, and he hopes that each song is reflective of that inner drama.

Wanna Talk

Center track “Wanna Talk” is a perky pop tune with groove, portraying a sarcastic interpretation of social clumsiness, especially with regards to visiting up affection interests. Ironically, the self-written and self-produced song “Wanna Talk” contrasts being completely comfortable performing in front of thousands with highlighting the self-deprecating realism of how difficult it is to talk to someone you have a thing for.

St. Humain said that he thinks it’s very cool to confess, at least to yourself. what you’re actually feeling. His intention is to encourage listeners to be honest about their feelings, as he believes that gives you some freedom and helps you gain confidence just by being who you are. Additionally, he believes that recognizing the negative emotions is the first step in overcoming them.

St. Humain

To date, St. Humain’s music has received acclaim from numerous publications, including Billboard, Live Nation’s Ones to Watch, and Earmilk. St. Humain also runs his own clothing line, Emotional Sauna, which has grown in popularity alongside his music. The brand, which is named after his debut EP, sells pieces that let our minds wander into an aesthetic.

St. Humain promotes escapism in this: In order to complement the distinctive “world” of each song, each release has been accompanied by a clothing line. The musician is offering completely exclusive pieces in small runs that will never be reprinted.

With METADRAMATIC, St. Humain is certain to attract attention this year due to the profound artistry and unquestionably one-of-a-kind creativity that runs through his veins.
