St. Humain is a Sydney, Australia-based artist who works in any genre. The musician’s vibrant, multi-cultural upbringing in Singapore gives his music a unique vibrancy. He explained that things are usually more dramatic in our heads, and he hopes that each song is reflective of that inner drama.
Center track “Wanna Talk” is a perky pop tune with groove, portraying a sarcastic interpretation of social clumsiness, especially with regards to visiting up affection interests. Ironically, the self-written and self-produced song “Wanna Talk” contrasts being completely comfortable performing in front of thousands with highlighting the self-deprecating realism of how difficult it is to talk to someone you have a thing for.
St. Humain said that he thinks it’s very cool to confess, at least to yourself. what you’re actually feeling. His intention is to encourage listeners to be honest about their feelings, as he believes that gives you some freedom and helps you gain confidence just by being who you are. Additionally, he believes that recognizing the negative emotions is the first step in overcoming them.
