P. G. Bogle

I loved to read adventure stories as a child and writing by keeping a diary of daily events to the end of my teenage years.

I left school at the age of sixteen and became articled to a firm of chartered  accountants and once I had qualified my business life took over.

In my retirement my love of writing again became something I really enjoyed, and this  resulted in a novel based on the life of a fantasy white mouse under the title of  Algernon Arbuthnot Arrives of which there are now around eight-hundred copies in circulation. This was aimed at the middle grade market and during my research I discovered that there were lots of books with a fantasy background but fewer adventure stories which were my real passion. This resulted in my second book which has just been published as Gary’s Gang Go for Gold and involves five children who cannot seem to avoid evolving into a team of  amateur detectives.
