Flyana Boss Have Released An Unapologetically Colourful And Witty EP, Boffum

On The Table Read Magazine, “the best entertainment magazine in the UK“, Flyana Boss, best friends and a dynamic hip-hop duo, have released a new EP called Boffum.

The two-song EP Boffum, which is triumphant and colorful, is jam-packed with energizing beats and powerful vocals that jab with brazen notes of attitude and unmatched confidence. It also has two songs.

What started out as two best friends doing freestyles over YouTube beats has grown effortlessly into a bold and daring career that uses witty banter and lyrical content that makes you laugh out loud to highlight what it means to be a woman.

The first song, “Really Really,” is a modern dating anthem that celebrates individuality and establishing boundaries. Flyana Boss says to kick off your shoes, but don’t go overboard. “Really Really,” a sarcastic act of reclamation about loving yourself first, provides an inside look at Flyana Boss’ generation. “Nu Nu” is about surprising people when they least expect it and challenging people’s expectations.

Putting yourself first is one thing that Flyana Boss hopes their listeners will take away from Boffum. Bobbi Lanea and Folayan Kunerede, MCs and multi-instrumentalists from Dallas, Texas and Detroit, Michigan, met at a Los Angeles, California, music college. They began working together immediately and eventually gave their group the name Flyana Boss. Folayan and Bobbi express the spirit of fly-ness and boss-ness in their infectious hip-hop songs.

They want to keep you entertained, make you laugh, and always remind you that you are listening to the direct descendants of all of the female bosses who came before them throughout human history, including Cleopatra, Harriet Tubman, Michelle Obama, and Beyoncé!
