On The Table Read Magazine, “the best creativity magazine in the UK“, Oppo Brothers have launched a brand new concept in frozen snacking – Oppo Dipped – with real frozen fruit pieces dipped in thick Belgian chocolate.
It’s time to switch up your fruit game with Oppo Brothers’ latest innovation, Oppo Dipped. Using only the finest fresh fruit picked at the peak of their ripeness and frozen directly at the source, Oppo Dipped combines this with luxurious thick Belgian milk chocolate or white chocolate.
These bite-sized treats start at just 59 calories per portion so make a delicious snack any time of day – a perfect solution to satisfy the growing trend of healthier snacking. (Strawberry & Raspberry is 59 kcals per 30g portion, Pineapple & Coconut is 75 kcals per 30g portion and Banana Caramel is 79 kcals per 30g portion)
Oppo Dipped are best enjoyed 10 minutes after removing from the freezer to allow the fruit to soften a little. This unique experience of sweet and juicy semi-frozen fruit and thick chocolate delivers a decadent and moreish flavour explosion quite unlike anything you’ll have tried before.
True to Oppo’s B Corp status as an organization using business as a force for good, Oppo Dipped comes in a plastic-free sharing box to minimize packaging waste and they are produced in a factory running on 100% sustainable energy too.
Since the mochi craze, everyone’s wondering what the next exciting thing is going to be in frozen snacking. So, we’re really proud to introduce Oppo Dipped, a new and genuinely disruptive frozen treat that no-one will have experienced before.
We focused our range around the most popular fruits in the UK – strawberries, bananas and pineapple. Naturally sweet and packed full of flavour, these fruits deliver the sweetness people look for in a treat with the added bonus of a beautifully rich chocolate coating that gives a satisfying crack as you bite into it. Fruit has never been this indulgent.
-Harry Thuillier founder of Oppo Brothers
Back in 2011 brothers Charlie and Harry Thuillier set off to raise money for charity by breaking a world record in Brazil – ‘the longest ever distance travelled by kite buggy’. Half way through their expedition they ran out of food and were forced to forage the land to survive. As a result they discovered fruits that weren’t native to Europe that tasted exceptionally sweet but weren’t bad for their health.
That’s when the eureka moment occurred – why couldn’t all sweet foods be made using these ingredients? Why did indulgence always have to be bad for you? So Charlie set about recreating the most indulgent treat he could think of – ice cream. Twelve years on and Oppo Brothers is the leading brand in better for you ice cream present in all major retailers across Europe and the Middle East.
Over the years the brothers have made it their mission to create feel good indulgence that’s better for taste, health and planet.
Oppo only uses the finest quality, ethically sourced natural ingredients along with fresh milk and real cream (unlike most other brands). Thanks to this obsession with ‘the best’ they are the only dedicated low calorie brand to win Great Taste awards. In fact Oppo Brothers ice cream often beats the world’s leading full fat/sugar premium tub brands in independent Blind Taste Tests.
Charlie and Harry believe that their success is down to Oppo’s focus on quality of product and premium, natural ingredients, plus an understanding that consumers are unwilling to compromise on taste.
All Oppo’s creations deliver indulgent ice cream but at up to 60% less calories and sugar than regular premium brands.
Oppo has always been serious about sustainability and this fact was recognised in 2022 when Oppo Brothers was certified as a B Corp organisation using business as a force for good in the world. They actively tree plant and have planted 62,000 trees since 2022 with the goal of planting 75,000 trees by the end of 2023.
