Debut poet Ian Murray has released Love, Hurt & Pain following the break-up of his twenty year marriage. This thoughtful and perceptive collection of poetry which speaks directly to the hearts of those who have lost a loved one, whether from death, divorce or a range of other circumstances. While many of the verses are deeply personal, throughout it is Murray’s belief that it is better to have loved and lost than never have loved at all that is most evident.

If you have loved and lost someone dear, this poetry straight from the ‘heart’ will help you to sit back, relax and enjoy the smooth words of love, hurt and pain, and embrace the love you once had.

With each one of Ian Murray’s poems evoking a raft of emotions, Love, Hurt & Pain will be revisited time and again by all those who have felt the solace and comfort delivered by this debut poet’s compassionate and perceptive words.

This is my first published work; and I started writing poetry following the recent break up from my wife of twenty years.  I have also completed a children’s anthology of funny poems, which is yet to be published; and I’m currently halfway through writing a musical, Dragatin’s Revenge.
