Ducie Street Warehouse Reveals New Social Dining Concept Menu

On The Table Read ebook Magazine UK, the new social dining concept at the Ducie Street Warehouse Restaurant is designed to be shared. Featuring innovative dishes from the farm, the sea and the allotment – available from 21st April.

Ducie Street Warehouse, the destination hub on the ground floor of the Grade II listed former Victorian warehouse, also home to Native Manchester, has announced its new menu and social dining concept; designed for sharing, with something for everyone. Featuring new curated dishes by Head Chef Andrew Green from the farm, the sea and the allotment, the vibrant menu will be available at the restaurant from Thursday 21st April.

The social dining concept is born out of the warehouse’s ethos of bringing people together at one of Manchester’s most eclectic destinations – with a menu dedicated to sharing and to be social over. It is simply a relaxed and good dining experience for everyone to be together, from couples, friends, groups, families, and everyone in between.

Head Chef Andrew Green and the team have heightened their ‘Something for Everyone’ menu approach, with a new collection of sharing dishes, plus a selection of small plates, starters and sides. From the farm dishes include the finest Herdwick Lamb mince for handmade lamb kofta’s, locally reared and dry aged sirloin steak, Lancashire hotpot croquettes using locally reared Cumbrian lamb leg, Cumbrian reared pork chop, gochujang chicken, and DSW 8oz burger, as well as Calabrian ‘nduja pasta.

New Menu

From the sea dishes are delivered fresh daily from Fleetwood, the menu features 600g baked whole sea bass, crispy Manchester Union battered fish sharers, grilled king prawns, black sesame seared salmon, salt & pepper calamari, and DSW famous lobster macaroni.

Fully plant-based, from the allotment part, will include Wye Valley charred asparagus, sweetcorn and coriander fritter, garlic scented wild mushrooms, tender stem broccoli, peanut & sesame cauliflower, harissa spiced celeriac, and crispy potato gnocchi.

And for those with sweet tooth, highlights include Blossom espresso martini tiramisu using sustainable specialty coffee from Blossom Coffee Roasters, cheese of the week showcasing some of the region’s greatest cheese including Garstang Blue, Kidderton Ash, Black Bob, Mrs. Kirkham’s Lancashire Cheese, Blacksticks Blue and more. Other sweet offerings include majool date sticky toffee pudding, lemon meringue, flourless rich chocolate brownie, affogato, and poached plums.

In addition to the 80-cover restaurant, Ducie Street Warehouse will also serve curated dishes at its outdoor South-facing Terrace and vibrant Lounge, including a selection of light bites, small plates, large plates, salads, and the warehouse’s famous Pinza featuring Focaccia Romana style bread.

Over at the impressive bar situated in the heart of the Lounge, Ducie Street Warehouse has curated a splendid signature cocktails – from the perfect spritz with fresh tones of rip citrus fruits, North to South, with Italicus bergamot, pink grapefruit, wine syrup, topped with sparkling wine, to DSW’s approach to Tiki, Tropical Rain City, with public spirit spiced, public spirit golden, ginger liqueur, bitters, pineapple, pressed line, and a rich toasted notes and silky texture,  Coffee, Honey, with bulleit bourbon, salted oak honey, PX sherry, cocoa nib milk syrup and espresso. A selection of 0% ABV cocktails, classic cocktails, and wines (white, red, orange, rose, sparkling) are also available for guests to enjoy.
