POLARTROPICA, a galactic dream pop artist from Los Angeles who was recently named the Best Indie Pop Band by LA Weekly, is a force on the music scene. She has created a new kind of ethereal synth psychedelia that you haven’t heard before. Ihui (eeway) Cherise Wu, a Taiwanese-American artist who grew up in Southern California, came up with the idea for Polartropica. In 2021, she released her first solo EP, Astrodreams, which marked the beginning of her musical career.
