The Life Of A Stone: Memoir Of A Path Between Lives

Peter Simon Mond learned to pay attention to life, to discover the meaning of seemingly random or insignificant events, and in his new book, The Life Of A Stone: Memoir Of A Path Between Lives, he shares that journey with readers.

In this unusual memoir, Peter Simon Mond shares the fascinating story of his soul’s journey through two different lives—his present life in Israel and England, and his past life in Poland during World War II. During a past life regression, he discovered his previous life as a Jewish teenager in the Warsaw ghetto, and he highlights the significant events and themes that connect these two lives.

The story weaves together his parallel lives, as a teenage smuggler going back and forth between the gates of the stone wall of the Warsaw ghetto, and as a young a boy in Brighton, England, who created an “inner ghetto” with the stones of his imagination, with adult Peter, living with his family behind the old stone walls of their house in Tzfat, Israel. For Peter Simon Mond, stones (a cognate of the Hebrew word  for understanding) become the building blocks for creating these connections.

Peter Simon Mond describes the process over a lifetime of learning to see his personal history as a history of discovering meaning by confronting what was hidden and baffling within the events of life. Seemingly meaningless disturbances reflect encounters between the individual and the Divine, serving as a source of revelation and wisdom.

The Life Of A Stone is filled with inspiring stories and insightful guidance that will help readers to discover more meaning in their own lives. Through his own experiences, Peter Simon Mond shares how to convert the impressions and events of life into revelations that can guide our actions in the world. His message is to listen deeply and “stretch out a hand for the wellbeing of another.”
