Los Angeles-based soul-drenched pop singer Cooper Phillip has released a new Christmas single, “One Sweet December Night.” Teaming up with renowned producer and songwriter Walter Afanasyev, known for his work on Mariah Carey’s iconic “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” Cooper delivers an uplifting and heartfelt holiday track. “One Sweet December Night” encapsulates the magic of the season, blending soulful vocals with a festive melody.

This song is truly a dream come true for me. Growing up, I was inspired by the timeless Christmas classics, especially those sung by Mariah Carey. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d one day write a Christmas song and collaborate with the legendary Walter Afanasyev. As the genius behind so many iconic holiday hits, working with Walter has been nothing short of magical. This project is a celebration of dreams, music, and the holiday spirit that has always inspired me.

Cooper Phillip, a classically trained musician hailing from Russia and now based in Los Angeles, is a force to be reckoned with. With a soaring voice, unapologetic attitude, and a boundary-pushing approach to pop music, she has rapidly gained recognition in the industry.

Growing up in the provincial city of Saratov, Cooper was immersed in music from a young age, influenced by her mother’s passion for classical violin. With a dedicated work ethic and undeniable talent, Cooper has amassed millions of streams on platforms like Spotify. Her singles, such as “Party By Myself,” “Not Perfect,” and “Masterpiece,” have garnered critical acclaim from publications like WONDERLAND, American Songwriter, and Earmilk.
