On The Table Read Magazine, “the best entertainment magazine in the UK“, Ceara Cavalieri releases new single, Bad Thing, about discovering her girlfriend was cheating on her.
Bad Thing
Bad Thing is an autobiographical song written by Los Angeles queer pop rock singer/songwriter Ceara Cavalieri when she discovered that a girl she was dating was cheating on her at a party. She shared that music has always been the most important thing that has helped her heal. She wanted to write a fun pop-rock song about confronting a person who has betrayed you and joking with them about the possibility of getting your own revenge.
Ceara Cavalieri
Southern California-based alt-pop/rock singer/songwriter Ceara Cavalieri has made it her life’s work to pursue music full-time since receiving her psychology degree from UCLA.
She discovered her voice at the age of three and has always had a passion for music. When her shyness prevented her from singing, she turned to songwriting as a means of expressing herself during her teenage years.
Cavalieri is creating her own distinct style of infectious and candidly relatable pop rock music with eight singles to her name so far. Her most recent single, “Liar Liar,” was added to Spotify’s highly coveted SALT playlist, and her single “Damn” was added to Spotify’s “Teen Beats” and “Fresh Finds” playlists. Additionally, Ceara and DJ/producer EQRIC recently collaborated on two dance singles that were included on Spotify’s “Dance Brandneu” playlist.
“Bad Thing,” her newest single, is a queer song about being betrayed and finding the strength to get through the situation.
