Following the success of previous singles like “Doesn’t Matter” and “Used By You,” “Body Bag” further solidifies Romano’s reputation as a rising star in the alt-pop scene, seamlessly blending raw emotion with anthemic melodies.

I always had this picture in my mind of who I would be at this age and what my life would look like, and I always thought it would be shiny, fun, sexy, and exhilarating. I’ve spent the last few years chasing those feelings, but ‘Body Bag’ is a peak behind the curtain at the reality of modern romance and feeling young and old at the same time. I think sonically the song has so many ups and downs, and that’s exactly how this stage of my life has felt. It’s running barefoot on the concrete, chasing something you can’t quite put your finger on, but running towards it nonetheless. That’s how I would best describe ‘Body Bag.’
