Wesson

Milton Keyes based, British alt/rock band Wesson is a four-piece bandled by singer/songwriter Chris Wesson. Formed under the mutual decision to find like-minded souls who needed music as part of their everyday life, Wesson create music which is relatable, conversational and meaningful.

Each band member, including bassist Callum, guitarist Jimmy, and drummer Dale, comes from a different musical background resulting in a collective mix of pop, punk rock and indie with soaring vocal parts and an overall sound which is entirely its own. Their organic approach to songwriting spreads honest messages of living unapologetically to inspire others to be honest with their life and not be frightened to be themselves.

My Self

Wesson’s single, My Self, explores vulnerability, mortality and individuality while soul searching and looking purpose to life. As people go about their daily activities, the band reflect on how pointless it all seems in the grand scheme of things.

With driving, upbeat percussion, gritty guitars, and infectious harmonies, this toe-tapping single takes you on a reflective journey, shedding light on the human experience, through thought-provoking lyrics which urge listeners to reevaluate the meaning of life and take time for moments of self-discovery.
