Today, purpose-driven baking box company Britain Loves Baking launches its platinum jubilee baking box and kits collection along with its street party baking kit that will bring communities together in celebration of a once-in-a-lifetime event, Her Majesty the Queen’s platinum jubilee.

The Queen’s Jubilee

Enjoy an afternoon tea inspired by the Queen’s favourite teatime treats. All the ingredients in our boxes have been sourced in the UK and Commonwealth and include items such as Platinum sliver leaf from Canada, vanilla extract from Uganda and farm-grown yeast from Australia.

With the Big Jubilee lunch taking place on the 5 June and inspired by the Queen’s love of afternoon tea, the team at Britain Loves Baking have come up with the idea of creating a Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea Big Bake and at a cost of just £7 per person, it can be ordered for up 1,000 people.

Greg Wixted, founder said: Nothing brings a community together more so than when a special royal jubilee is celebrated, and which brings friends and neighbours closer together during the festivities. The Afternoon Tea Platinum Jubilee baking box has been created for bakers of all skills to join in and create amazing baked treats to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s historic seventy-year reign.”

Baking Box

The baking box comes complete with a full baking schedule and event planner to create this amazing afternoon tea menu. The special treats includeClarence House chocolate biscuit cake, mini Victoria sponges with strawberry jam and buttercream, Union Jack cupcakes, the jubilee cupcakes (created by the in-house baking team), traditional fruit and plain scones and jam, Union Jack shortbreads and bread mix to create mini bread rolls suitable for finger sandwiches.

For those who are celebrating at home or in the garden with family and friends, there is a delicious Jubilee Macaron Baking Kit (£36) with all the ingredients included to prepare 45-50 mouth-watering macarons, inspired the Queen’s love of sweet treats and the sumptuous afternoon teas served at her annual garden parties.

The box includes everything bakers need to make: lemon posset macaron with a tangy but sweet filling, summer pudding, with a rich red berry and cream filling. The crowning glory is the jubilee macaron, a blackberry shell, filled with Ugandan vanilla bean, white chocolate and blackberry ganache and when ready, they are topped with flecks of platinum silver leaf.

For chocolate lovers, there is three great British dessert-inspired chocolate bar making kits with everything needed to make two, four or six 150g gram bars for British white chocolate, Eton mess, summer pudding and tropical fruit salad. When prepared, just finish them with the specially created topping packs of dehydrated and freeze-dried fruits to create sublime chocolate bars.
