The journeys and skills of five independent rappers are shown in the movie as together, they changed people’s lives and maybe even the course of faith-based rap. Brinson and labelmates ReadyWriter, Cstraight, Oatmeal and Nazarite give crowds an inside look at how they fell in love with hip-hop music, and what happened when they infused their music with their faith. Throughout the entirety of the documentary, you’ll see glimpses into coincidental, almost metaphysical, instances from Brinson’s youth that kept pushing him toward his true calling.
According to Brinson’s explanation, the idea for GodChaserz The Documentary was to attempt to create a social media short to commemorate GodChaserz Entertainment’s 15th anniversary. However, when the COVID-19 lockdown came into effect, time stopped.
GodChaserz The Documentary has won 64 film festival awards, proving what Brinson already knows, music that transforms souls has a market.
